"Dr. Abrar Alhameed, PharmD, BCPS, BCIDP is an Infectious Diseases and Antimicrobial Stewardship Clinical Pharmacy Consultant in King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre-Madinah.Dr. Abrar graduated with a PharmD degree from King Abdulaziz University with first class honor. She completed her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at King Abdulaziz Medical City, and her PGY2 infectious disease pharmacy residency at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Jeddah. Furthermore, she is board-certified in pharmacotherapy and board-certified in infectious diseases. Teaching and training about the optimization of antimicrobial use has always been a passion for Dr. Abrar. She currently has an active role in training of medical residents, pharmacy trainees and nurses. Dr. Abrar is interested in education, research and antimicrobial stewardship."
