Dr. Al Ruwaisan is an infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship clinical pharmacist in King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Riyadh. She started her career after completing doctor of pharmacy degree from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After which, she completed her post-graduate training at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC) in Riyadh starting with a two-year Post Graduate Year-1 (PGY-1) Residency. Then, she successfully completed her specialty residency in infectious diseases. She is board certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and infectious diseases (BCIDP) from the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) in the USA. Dr. Al Ruwaisan is an assistant professor in Alfaisal University, Riyadh. She is an acting member and a reviewer in a number of scientific committees and journals in her field.
